- Leh
ゴンパ、バザール、薄い空気に体を慣らすための高地の出発点。南へ向かう長い空白区間の前に補給しておきましょう。
- Upshi
谷が開け、川の景色が見え始める小さな道路分岐点。高原へ入る前の最後の重要なサービス休憩地点です。
- Tso Kar
風が強く、野生動物が見られ、茶色い山々の中に白い縁が際立つ塩湖地帯。ここでは道路が別世界のように感じられます。
- Baralacha La
ハイウェイでも最も高く、最も厳しい峠のひとつで、夏でも冷え込むことが多いです。雪原とヘアピンカーブが、この区間を本当の試練にしています。
- Sarchu
境界のない高原の荒野に分かれた、広大な高地キャンプ地帯。光の変化が早く、夜は冷え込み、施設は少なめです。
- Nakee La

- Pang Wildlife Sanctuarynature reserve
Remote high-altitude wetland and grassland zone near the southern Ladakh stretches. Look for migratory birds and wide open plateau scenery.
- Atal Tunnelengineering landmark
Modern mountain tunnel on the Manali side that changes access through the region. It is a memorable contrast to the wild passes above.
