ドイツの並木道ルート
ドイツ
プロイセンとザクセンの貴族たちが命じた、木々に縁取られたバロック様式の並木道をたどる、ドイツ中部の4州（ザクセン＝アンハルト、ブランデンブルク、メクレンブルク、ザクセン）を巡る868 kmの周遊ルート。19,000本の木が植わる150本の並木道を通り、バウハウス・デッサウ、ヴェルリッツ公園（ドイツで最初のイングリッシュ・ランドスケープ・ガーデン）、そしてユネスコ登録のクヴェートリンブルクの中世の丘へと続きます。

- Dessau-Rosslau
バウハウス運動発祥の地。グロピウスの1925年の建物とマイスターの家々はユネスコ登録で、デッサウ美術館には世界最高のバウハウス・コレクションがあります。
- Wörlitz Park
大陸で最初のイングリッシュ・ランドスケープ・ガーデン。1764年に造営された112haの湖、神殿、ゴシック風のフォリ―があり、ゴンドラでめぐるのが最適です。ユネスコ世界遺産。
- Quedlinburg
1,300軒の木組みの家が残る、ユネスコ保護の中世の町。聖セルヴァティウス参事会教会がボーデ渓谷の上の岩山にそびえ、936年にマチルダ皇后によって創建されました。
- Halberstadt Cathedral
13世紀のゴシック大聖堂で、ドイツで最も豊かな中世の宝物を所蔵。聖なる美術品650点を含み、名高いハルバーシュタットのユニコーンの織物もあります。
- Magdeburg
ドイツ初のゴシック大聖堂（1209年）と、現存するドイツ最古の世俗彫刻であるオットー1世の騎馬像がある、エルベ川のバロック様式の川沿いにある街。
- Schwerin Castle
シャンボールを模した、湖の島に建つ1857年の童話のような城で、シュヴェリーン湖に映える姿が美しい。北ドイツで最もロマンチックな建物です。
- Wismar
北欧以外で現存する、スウェーデン時代の植民地建築が唯一残るハンザ同盟の港町。市場広場の煉瓦ゴシック教会群はユネスコ世界遺産です。
- Lutherstadt Wittenberg
1517年にルターが95か条の論題を掲げた場所。ルターの家博物館には宗教改革期の世界最大級のコレクションが収蔵され、町全体がユネスコ登録です。
