- Fort William
英国最高峰、標高1345mのBen Nevisのふもと。Great Glenの断層はここからスコットランドを北へ分けています。
- Neptune's Staircase
カレドニアン運河の8つ連続した閘門が船を20m持ち上げる、英国最長の階段式閘門で、背後にはBen Nevisがそびえます。
- Fort Augustus
Great Glenの中間地点で、カレドニアン運河が5つの閘門を通ってLoch Nessへ下っていく場所。町の上にある廃修道院は静かで、混雑することはほとんどありません。
- Urquhart Castle
スコットランドで最も写真に撮られる廃墟で、Loch Nessの最深部を見下ろす岬の上にあります。ここでは他のどこよりも多くのネッシー目撃情報が記録されています。
