- Rocky Mount
フランクリン郡の郡庁所在地であり、The Crooked Road の東の拠点。かつては世界の密造酒の首都であり、ブルーリッジ山岳音楽の揺籃の地でもあった。
- Stuart
パトリック郡の郡庁所在地で、JEB スチュアートの生誕地。周囲の谷間は、隣接するブルーリッジ流とは異なるフィドルの伝統を生み出した。
- Floyd Country Store
毎週金曜の夜、この1910年代の雑貨店では1913年から続くコントラダンスが開かれ、地元の人々や観光客が生演奏の伝統的なフィドルに合わせて踊る。
- Rex Theatre Galax
WBRF Friday Nite Jamboree は、1955年からこのアールデコ劇場から生放送されている。ガラクスでは毎年8月、世界最大級のオールドタイム音楽の集いが開かれる。
