Gran Sassoを通るアペニン山岳道路は、11月から3月にかけて狭く、曲がりくねっており、凍結することがあります。その期間はスノーチェーンまたは冬用タイヤが法律で義務付けられています。標高の高い一部の連絡道路は季節的に通行止めになるため、内陸へ向かう前に状況を確認してください。
