Travel advisory
The Prithvi Highway carries heavy bus and truck traffic and road quality deteriorates notably during and after monsoon season. Landslides can temporarily block the route between June and September, so check current conditions before departure. Allow extra time and drive defensively through the narrow Trisuli gorge sections.
