Amalfi Coast
Italy
The SS163 may be the most beautiful road on Earth, hairpin bends cut into cliffs, pastel villages above an impossibly blue sea, lemon groves scenting the air.

Travel advisory
The SS163 is extremely narrow with tight hairpin bends, frequent bus and truck traffic, and limited passing space. Smaller cars are far easier to maneuver and large vehicles should be avoided entirely. Drive slowly, use your horn on blind corners, and consider avoiding peak summer daytime hours.
