『Vanishing Point』のドライブは、デンバーからコロラド、ユタ、ネバダ、カリフォルニアを西へ進む旅です。1971年のカルト映画では、Kowalskiが1970年式 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Magnum でI-70を西へ走りました。実際のルートは州間高速道路を外れ、ユタの砂漠、ゴーストタウン、シエラネバダ、そしてサンフランシスコ湾という、映画の雄大な地平線をたどります。
