Thakhek Loopは、ラオス中部を巡る定番のバイク＆ロードトリップで、メコン川沿いのThakhekを起点・終点とします。石灰岩のカルスト丘陵、静かな村々、川沿いの洞窟、そして迫力あるKong Lor Cave周辺を縫うように進み、走りやすい道、荒れた区間、忘れられない景観が入り混じります。

Explore one of the loop's most accessible limestone caves with dramatic chambers and walking paths. It is a good half-day stop near Thakhek.
- Ride the Nakai Plateauscenic drive
Cruise across highland roads with reservoir views and open mountain scenery. The ride is calmer here, with plenty of chances to stop for photos.
- Explore Tham Xang Cavecave
Walk the cave area and admire the surrounding karst cliffs. It is an easy stop for geology, scenery, and a quick stretch off the bike.
- Sunset by the Mekong in Thakhekviewpoint
End the day along the riverfront with views across to Thailand. The calm waterfront is ideal for a slow evening after rougher road sections.

道路状況は、舗装された区間から荒れた路面や穴ぼこだらけの区間までさまざまで、特に雨の後は悪化します。Thakhekや大きな町では燃料やATMが利用できますが、農村部ではサービスが少ないため、満タンで出発し、現金を持っていきましょう。
