- Front Royal Entrance Station
北ゲートから Skyline Drive に入り、すぐに Shenandoah の尾根の景色へと登っていきます。地図、入園許可証、最新情報を確認する定番の最初の立ち寄り場所です。
- Dickey Ridge Visitor Center
展示とトレイルへのアクセスがある、尾根の上の静かな停車スポット。近くの展望台からは Shenandoah Valley を広く見渡す最初の眺めが楽しめます。
- Signal Knob Overlook
谷や山の層が重なる広大な景色を見渡すために車を止めましょう。ここはこの道中でも特に優れた初期の展望地点のひとつです。
- Thornton Gap Entrance Station
道路が尾根の稜線に近いまま進む中央のアクセスポイント。近くのトレイルヘッドや展望台があり、気軽に休憩できます。
- Stony Man Mountain Overlook
公園で最も有名な展望地点のひとつへ向かう短い寄り道です。晴れた日には岩の頂が空に近く感じられます。
- Big Meadows Wayside
スナックやアイスクリーム、開けた草原地帯の近くでひと休みするのに便利な停車地です。ドライブ南半分に入る前の休憩に向いています。

頻繁な待避所と、走行をゆっくりに保つ制限速度の標識があることを想定してください。秋の週末は混雑しやすく、入口のステーションでは列ができることがあります。冬の天候で一時的に通行止めになる区間もあるため、出発前に Shenandoah National Park の状況を確認してください。
