断崖上の高原で最初の町。アラウカリアの森とペロタス川の源流に囲まれています。

玄武岩の峡谷と滝の高地の町。ブラジルで最も低い気温が記録され、雪も珍しくありません。

18kmの上りにはほぼ300のヘアピンカーブと急勾配が含まれます。下りではブレーキの熱ダレを避けるため、低いギアを使ってください。霧や低い雲は特に朝に多く見られます。道路は舗装されており、どの車でも通行できますが、注意深い運転が必要です。
