- Rubavu
キブ湖北端の湖畔の出発地点。風に吹かれた景色、にぎやかな市場、そしてトレイルの最初の気軽な雰囲気が待っています。
- Gisenyi Beach
穏やかな水面と火山の景色が広がる砂地の湖岸。泳ぐ、散歩する、ボートを眺めるのに定番の立ち寄りスポットです。
- Kinunu
茶畑の丘と湖畔の入り江が、この停車地を旅の中ほどでくつろげる場所にしています。このあたりでは道がしばしば水辺近くまで下り、素晴らしく人里離れた雰囲気を感じられます。
- Kivumu

- Kamembe
湖岸と国境地域の近くにある、にぎやかな南側の玄関口です。最後の区間に入る前の、実用的なサービス休憩地点です。
- Rusizi
