スペイン最大のワイン産地ラ・リオハは、エブロ川の上にそびえる中世の城壁に囲まれた村々を巡り、ハロの街路の下ではオークの香り漂う洞窟型ボデガでテンプラニーリョが熟成され、フランク・ゲーリーやザハ・ハディドが名門ワイナリーの設計を手がけ、どのバーでもサン・セバスティアンに劣らない真剣なピンチョ文化が息づいています。

- Logroño
ラ・リオハの州都でサンティアゴ巡礼路の交差点でもあるこの街では、ピンチョ通りのカジェ・デル・ラウレルにスペイン随一のバー密度が集まります。旧市街は毎晩にぎわいます。
- Haro
リオハ・アルタのワインの中心地。バリオ・デ・ラ・エスタシオンには、テンプラニーリョをフランスへ送るため鉄道沿いに建てられた築100年以上のボデガが12軒あります。6月29日のワイン・バトルでは何千人もの人が赤ワインを浴びます。
- Briñas
エブロ川の上にある小さな丘の上の村で、360度のブドウ畑のパノラマと、素朴な中世の教会のファサードの奥に隠れた18世紀の祭壇画があります。
- Laguardia
ブドウ畑の海の上の尾根にある、完全にそのまま残された城壁に囲まれた中世の村で、3つのロマネスク教会と、その下の岩に彫られた洞窟型ボデガが、地上の家々よりも多くあります。
