山道は急で曲がりくねっており、雨や霧のときは進みが遅くなることがあります。特にアティトランとケツァルテナンゴ付近の高い峠では注意が必要です。夜間の運転はおすすめしません。日中の移動を計画し、ハンプ、バス、雨季の時折の土砂崩れに気をつけてください。
