- Baddeck
アレクサンダー・グラハム・ベルはここ Bras d'Or Lake のほとりで夏を過ごしました。彼の邸宅 Beinn Bhreagh と国定史跡が町の中心です。
- Cheticamp
誇り高いアカディア系の漁村。協同組合の埠頭では新鮮なズワイガニが手に入り、どのギャラリーにも鮮やかな hooked-rug のタペストリーが並びます。
- Cape Breton Highlands National Park
西側の断崖に 300m の海食崖が続く北方性の台地。道路脇ではヘラジカが草を食み、上空ではハクトウワシが上昇気流に乗ります。
- Pleasant Bay
ゴンドウクジラは夏のあいだずっと村の下の湾で餌を取ります。埠頭からの Zodiac ツアーでは、ほぼ確実に間近で遭遇できます。
- Cape North
Cabot Trail ループの最北の集落で、Meat Cove や Cabot Landing Beach へ向かう脇道が分かれる人里離れた交差点です。
- Ingonish
細い砂州によって大西洋と隔てられた淡水湖です。Keltic Lodge が波しぶきの上の岬を見下ろします。
- Baddeck
ループは Bras d'Or Lake で閉じます。帰路では Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site をじっくり見学する価値があります。
