韓国でも最も有名な短距離ドライブのひとつである国道77号線は、緑豊かな農村地帯の全羅南道を、なだらかな緑の丘から切り立った海岸の断崖まで、劇的に変化する景観の中へと案内します。道路からは沖合に浮かぶ数百の島々が見え、島のドンベソム（釣り）とチルサンド（特別なハイキング）は、立ち寄る価値の高い短い寄り道です。
