- Rockfish Gap
L'estremità nord del Parkway al milepost 0, dove termina Skyline Drive e inizia verso sud una strada di 755 km senza cartelloni pubblicitari sulla cresta.
- Peaks of Otter
Tre picchi sopra un lago glaciale al milepost 86. La cima di Sharp Top offre una delle migliori viste a 360 gradi del Parkway sul piedmont della Virginia.
- Roanoke
La città più grande del Parkway. Il Taubman Museum of Art e la Mill Mountain Star, la più grande stella artificiale illuminata del mondo, definiscono il centro culturale.
- Linn Cove Viaduct

- Asheville

- Waterrock Knob
Il belvedere accessibile più alto del Parkway a 1.855 m vicino al milepost 451. Nelle giornate limpide si possono vedere quattro stati attraverso gli Appalachi meridionali.
- Cherokee
