يُعد Waterfall Way واحدًا من أكثر الرحلات البرية القصيرة إرضاءً في شمال New South Wales، إذ يصعد من السهول الساحلية عند Coffs Harbour إلى هضاب New England الباردة قرب Armidale. ينسج الطريق بين الغابات المطيرة ونقاط المشاهدة على الحافات وسلسلة من الشلالات الدرامية في المتنزهات الوطنية عبر طريق ممهّد بالكامل وسهل.

Waterfall Way ممهّد بالكامل وواضح في الطقس الجاف، لكنه يصعد بسرعة من الساحل إلى الهضاب، لذا توقع الضباب وأمطارًا أثقل ودرجات حرارة أبرد حول Dorrigo وEbor. بعد العواصف قد تبطئ الحطام الصخري أو الشجري المؤقت بعض المقاطع قرب الحافات والشلالات، وقد تجلب صباحات الشتاء الصقيع إلى الأراضي الأعلى.
