اتبع طريق بامير الأسطوري شرقًا من خوروغ إلى ممر واخان الضيق، حيث يتلوّى الطريق بين نهر بانج والقمم الأفغانية الصارخة. يمرّ الطريق بأطلال حصون وينابيع حارة وقرى حجرية ووديان مرتفعة واسعة قبل أن ينتهي قرب إشكاشيم، مع مشاهد متواصلة لأحد أكثر مناظر آسيا الوسطى عزلة.

عاصمة باميرية على نهر بانج، تتميز بهواء جبلي وأسواق وشعور قوي بأنها آخر محطة قبل الحدود.

قرية واخيّة صغيرة تتشبث ببيوتها الحجرية وبساتينها وقنوات الري بقاع الوادي.

Explore the hilltop walls and towers above the Wakhan Valley. The setting is dramatic, with the Panj River and Afghan peaks below.

Langar Petroglyphs

See ancient rock carvings near the village at the southern end of the corridor. They add a human history layer to the wild landscape.
