طريق M58 آمور السريع الفيدرالي مُعبّد، لكن بعض المقاطع سيئة الصيانة مع انتفاخات بسبب الصقيع، ومسافات طويلة بين محطات الوقود، وبرودة شديدة خارج الصيف. احمل قطع غيار احتياطية، ووقودًا إضافيًا، ومعدات طوارئ للطقس البارد. التغطية الهاتفية منعدمة لعدة مئات من الكيلومترات في كل مرة.
