الطرق بين بلدات الحلقة الذهبية جيدة عمومًا، لكن الجليد والثلوج وقصر النهار في الشتاء قد يبطّئون السفر كثيرًا من ديسمبر إلى يناير. داخل المراكز التاريخية توقع شوارع مرصوفة بالحجارة، ومناطق للمشاة، وحدودًا على الوقوف قرب الأديرة والكرملينات؛ التزم بالطرق الرئيسية وتجنّب الاختصارات غير المعبدة.
